Lawrence came to Anderson University and became involved in the historic South Meridian Revival in 1970. Ray Renner & Lawrence were both part of a group called the Fishermen and later a ministry called Teen Hill and Fellowship of Believers. They traveled all over the country sharing the revival and the gospel. Lawrence is also a gifted singer, pianist and song writer know best for “My Anchor Holds”. Lawrence also served as a pastor in the Boston, Mass. area and has worked in social work in South Carolina.
