The Easter Holiday focuses on the Resurrection of our Savior and King, Jesus Christ. Therefore we like to refer to it as Resurrection Sunday. The Resurrection is the foundation of our faith. We have been forgiven because Jesus came, died as the sinless Lamb of God and paid the price which we could never pay for our sins. He was buried and rose again on the 3rd day which we call Resurrection Day. This is the day we celebrate each year.
Each year, a black congregation either hosts this great service of unity in the Church in Anderson or a black pastor speaks, the reverse is true the next year. Palm Sunday is the day we celebrate the Triumphant Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. It is the Sunday before Resurrection Sunday. Hosanna To Our King!
Bethel Church in Redding, CA has several thousand students studying for ministry. A group of their students have traveled to Indiana and will serve with us at New Life with a work project on Saturday, Feb. 17 to help us prepare for Youth Camp. We are all supporting a special service of Worship and Ministry at 7 p.m. at New Covenant: address is 815 Western Rd., New Castle, IN 47362. A group from New Life will be going over supporting our sister congregation!
A Memorial Service will be held at New Life Christian Church, 2515 E 100 N, Anderson, IN 46012 at 11. a.m.
Dick & Jane Wallace have come to faith/renewed faith in Christ recently and will be baptized at LivRite Fitness Pool-12:30 p.m.

Our Pastors and their wives have been in training to minister emotional healing in sessions which can be scheduled on the last Wednesday of the month and also at other times. All our leaders have been going through emotional healing ministry ourselves and we are available to minister by appointment. See Pastor Vaughn & Connie to set up an appointment. We have a short streamlined form we would like you to fill out.
Scripture tells us the children are the blessing of the Lord. We believe in Celebrating Life and this special Sunday highlights the precious lives of the unborn and every human being as someone loved and cherished by God.
Pastor Johnny Cawthon will be flying to Siliguri, India through New Delhi to join Erika Pretorius and Marinda Coetzee for a time of ministry and the first graduation for our students. We have 4 students that have earned their Bachelor’s Degree through NLSOM and our affiliation with Christian Leadership University. Several days of ministry will be planned before graduation, December 16, 2023. Prayers & contributions appreciated!

We encourage you to support Operation Christmas Child by filling a shoe box for some poor child in another country. The Drop Off Sites this year are in Alexandria and Pendleton so drop off at New Life by Sunday, Nov. 26 and we will take them for you.
